Doctor of Oriental Medicine (FL), Licensed Acupuncturist
Cindi Fox Kemp received her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine and Bachelor of Health Studies from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine, in June of 2004, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She received her undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies from Rollins College, located in Winter Park, Florida.
Prior to practicing Acupuncture, Cindi, developed and taught Environmental Education curricula in Forest & Coastal Ecology, and Marine Biology. She also facilitated Ropes Courses to teach empowerment and leadership skills for diverse populations ranging from third graders, high school students, to Viet Nam Veterans. She then spent two years in management for a sport nutrition company, where she had rigorous training and did extensive research on nutrition, biochemistry, and physiology.
Cindi is a board certified, Licensed Acupuncturist. She relocated to North Carolina in 2004, from Florida, where she is a licensed Doctor of Oriental Medicine, and has been practicing in Cary for 15 years. She is very passionate about the medicine she practices, and takes her patients’ health care very seriously. Cindi is a fitness enthusiast and is extremely focused on dietary discipline. In November of 2019, Cindi became a certified Personal Trainer, through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Cindi Fox Kemp is a member of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, American Acupuncture Council, and the North Carolina Society of Acupuncture and Asian Medicine.
